102 Degrees is Hotttttt!

So today I had a Volleyball tournament in Salt Lake City. And it was sooo hot. But I love feeling how my body is changing. I know I'm only down ten pounds but even that little weight off makes a difference. It's great. It was 102 degrees outside and I'm sunburned beyond belief but hey, that comes with the territory.

What I've found to be hard is still eating multiple meals while playing. So what I did was grabbed a lot of power fruits (apples, bananas and oranges) and used those as my power source. Then I bought some packs of low calorie foods. I found one pack with 100 calories and the other had 80 calories. They are little muffins and crackers that can just give me that added power and small meal throughout the day. I'm loving it.

I've had a few rough moments eating with my friends. We go to these fattening restaurants  and they get all the food I used to eat. It's rough to order a salad with fat free dressing and nothing fattening on it, while they're getting steaks and baked potatoes and desserts. Oh well, this is the new me and I have got to stay strong. I'll be on tomorrow or Monday. Have a great weekend.
