Holly Sue - zzzzzzzzz

I have been really, really fatigued. I talked to Jess (personal trainer) about it and he was excited. Isn't that rude? Just kidding. No, but he says that reaching a stage of fatigue, as long as it doesn't last much longer than like 10 days, is a good sign. My body is done using up the "usual" energy resources and its resisting moving on to burning fat. If I keep up my lifestyle of good nutrition and activity, within a few days it should shift over to using fat. Yeeehaw. And zzzzzz.

Other than that I've been feeling ok. The fatigue has been affecting my workouts. I'm doing about 1.5 hours of cardio, and about 45 minutes into it I have been crashing. Makes me feel bad for my workout buddy, my sister Sunny Jo, because she has to slow down for me. Jess recommended that as I work out I should ingest some carbs, like an electrolyte drink, some fruit or something.

I'm getting braver and more confident eating out too. It was so intimidating at first, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. Yesterday my sister wanted to get some Panda Express for lunch. I cringed - lots of carbs in the rice, lots of meat, and lots lots lots of sauces. When I ordered my rice, I asked for a half serving. The dude put a full scoop of rice and went in for another 1/2 scoop. I was like, "STOP!" Then I got the peppery chicken stuff. He goes, "Double serving?" I just stared at him for a second in surprise before saying "No." I counted the sauce as one of my fats for the day. It's a really, really good feeling to finish my plate, lick it clean, and feel totally comfortable. Not stuffed. Not bursting at the seams. But also, none of that weirdness of only eating 1/2 of my food. Plus the meal was cheaper.

I washed my jeans this week and since have worn 3 pairs of them. Normally, after a fresh wash, I pull the jeans about 2/3 on, then kinda lunge around my bedroom until I've stretched them out. Then I pull them 5/6 of the way on, and start doing kicks to stretch them out a little more. Then, I pull them all the way on, button them, and do something like 10 squats to loosen them up. ROFL. Why am I posting this on a public forum? Good grief. Anyways - THIS TIME, I pulled them on. Then I buttoned them. Then I left the bedroom. 3 weeks and my jeans are fitting me comfortably. Ahhhhh!

It's been the consensus that I not weigh every week. Jess wants me to weigh every 12 weeks, but that doesn't make for fun blogging. So we settled on every 2 weeks lol. Next week I'll give an update.

One more thing. What was it? Hang on let me think... No hunger by the way. I'm still taking the Form pill when I feel hungry way before my next mealtime, but my body has already adapted a great deal to the new way of eating. It's been about 21 days, so that makes sense. I am still drinking the Fixx every morning, though. Never gets old, that stuff.

I swear there was one more thing I wanted to say, but I can't remember it. Boo. I'll just have to hop back on when I remember what it was.
